The 5 Best PlayStation 4 Exclusives So Far!

The PlayStation 4 has been winning this console generation from the start, and the biggest reason for this is its massive collection of impressive games. Leading the charge are the exclusive games that you can only experience on the PS4 family. With the PlayStation 5 launch right around the corner, it is just appropriate to list the 5 best PS4 exclusive games available so far. So here we go!

5. Marvel's Spider-Man

Marvel's Spider-Man is the best superhero game on PS4, which says a lot as games such as Batman: Arkham Knight and Infamous: Second Son are also available on PS4. The best traversal in any game, enjoyable story, satisfying combat and great graphics combine to make Spider-Man a game worthy of being in this top 5 list.

4. Horizon Zero Dawn

The world of Horizon Zero Dawn is post-apocalyptic, but not your typical one. Instead of having zombie-like creatures trying to end humanity, there are gorgeous but deadly machines in the beautifully realized world of HZD. The origin of the machines is unknown to humanity, and uncovering the secrets of HZD's world is what makes the story so engaging. And did I mention that you can fight giant machines?

3. God Of War

God Of War needs no introduction, having won countless Game of the Year awards from different publications. The God Of War reboot is a huge leap in quality from the previous God Of War titles, offering better combat and overall gameplay, engrossing story, and the best graphics on PS4. Having God Of War on this list is a no brainer.

2. Uncharted 4

Uncharted 4 is the first title to really show what the PS4 is really capable of, showcasing some of the best graphics on a PS4 game, even by today's standards. Its gameplay is also very polished, offering the right mix of combat, traversal and exploration. But as good as Uncharted 4 is at those things, the one thing that really put it over the top of games such as God Of War is the story. The story told in Uncharted 4 is arguably the best on any game on PS4, and THAT plot twist is some of the most unexpected in the history of gaming. Yeah, fight me on that one.

1. Bloodborne

Bloodborne's graphics is not up to par to the competition, the framerate is inconsistent, and the story is a mess. And yet Bloodborne is the best game on the PlayStation 4. The game itself is hard, and mostly frustrating. But the gameplay is just so good! Once you experience winning against a boss that it took you hours to defeat or making it out of an area after trying for a hundred times, your heart will race, your hands will shake, with your adrenaline flowing. The feeling is very rewarding. And trust me, you won't be able to stop thinking about it.

What's NEXT?

The PS5 will launch late this 2020. But that does not mean that the PS4 will be neglected. The Last of Us Part 2, The Ghost of Tsushima and countless other games is still to come to the PS4. There is still plenty of life on our trusty PS4s.
